How to disconnect active sessions and share account access

How to Reset and Disconnect Your Account Sessions

Keeping control over where your Square Cloud account is logged in is a fundamental security practice. If you left your account logged into a third-party device, lost your phone, or simply want to perform a preventive security cleanup, you can force all devices to disconnect simultaneously.

Below, we explain how to reset your active sessions and the correct way to grant third parties access to your projects.

🔄 How to disconnect all active sessions

To terminate access across all browsers and applications where your account is currently authenticated, follow these simple steps:

  1. Access security settings: In your dashboard, navigate to the My Account – Authentication section.
  2. Terminate sessions: Locate and click the "Disconnect all sessions" button.
  3. Log back in: Once the action is confirmed, the system will log out your account everywhere. To keep using the platform, you will need to re-enter your credentials on your current device and any others you wish to use.

Warning: This action takes immediate effect. Make sure you remember your current password or have access to your login method (such as Discord or GitHub) before proceeding, to ensure you can get back into your account.

🤝 How do I share my account with third parties?

We do not recommend sharing direct access to your Square Cloud account (email and password).

The most secure way to allow third parties to collaborate on managing your applications is by using the Workspaces system. This way, each team member uses their own isolated account to log in.

By using Workspaces, you maintain full control over your security and can:

  • Define scope: Choose exactly which applications can be accessed.
  • Dynamic management: Grant or revoke permissions at any time, taking effect immediately.
  • Granularidade: Control the level of access and actions of each member in an individualized and secure manner.
