Bug bounty: How to report a bug or vulnerability

How to Report a Bug or Vulnerability

At Square Cloud, the security and integrity of our infrastructure are fundamental priorities. We maintain an open channel for developers and security researchers to report flaws ethically, helping keep the ecosystem protected for all users.

Our Commitment to Security

We rely on the collaboration of the community to identify unexpected behaviors, logic errors, or technical vulnerabilities. The purpose of this channel is to ensure that any flaw is quickly fixed by our engineering team before it can be exploited maliciously.

How to Submit a Technical Report

For an issue to be analyzed and fixed efficiently, it must be forwarded through our official triage channel.

Official Channel

Every vulnerability report must be sent exclusively to:

Email: issues@squarecloud.app

Report Structure

A well-structured report is essential for our team to validate the issue. Your email must include:

  1. Issue Description: Clearly explain what the flaw is and its observed technical impact.
  2. Visual Evidence: Attach screenshots or video recordings that demonstrate the existence of the error.
  3. Step-by-Step Reproduction: List the exact steps required to replicate the flaw. Without a reproduction method, technical analysis becomes unfeasible.

Responsible Disclosure Guidelines

Upon identifying a vulnerability, we request that you follow responsible disclosure principles to protect the community:

  • Confidentiality: Do not disclose details of the flaw publicly or to third parties until Square Cloud has confirmed the issue has been resolved.
  • Non-Invasive: Do not attempt to access, modify, or extract data belonging to other users. Test only within your own applications or test accounts.
  • Service Integrity: Avoid using automation tools that could cause a denial of service (DoS/DDoS) or degrade platform performance for other users.

What Happens After Submission?

Upon receiving your email, our security team will conduct a triage. If the bug is confirmed, it will be forwarded for immediate remediation. We may reach out via the source email address if we require additional technical details or further testing.

Thank you for your commitment to helping make Square Cloud an increasingly secure environment.
